A user is any member that has been added to a workspace in your Appsmith instance. Members that are included in your instance at any point during the billing cycle will be billed for the full month.

As a member of your instance, any user that builds or edits applications will be treated as a standard user. There is no additional charge for developers who access the Appsmith IDE to build or edit applications.

We don’t read app data or any personally identifiable information. We only track users with a non-identifiable unique ID assigned to each user on Appsmith.

You can get started with Appsmith by signing up for a cloud or self-hosted account. All new signups receive a 15-day free trial of Appsmith Business, and there is no credit card required to start. If you sign-up for a self-hosted account, you will receive a license key along with instructions to set up your instance.
At the end of your 15-day trial, you can choose to activate your Business account, or continue using the Appsmith Free tier.

Business accounts are billed at the end of each month via credit card you provide when activating your account. Enterprise accounts are typically billed annually based on the terms of your agreement.
