Greg has been playing with technology and writing software since he was 10 (mostly playing, hacking, and writing games, with the occasional phone phreaking). He started leading small teams in the early '90s, was a dev lead on IBM OS/2, Chief Architect of a startup, founded two of his own startups (one is a Windows app with a user base of over 12 million), was a dev lead in Microsoft Research, a Principle Engineering Manager and GEM at Microsoft (working on Mixed Reality/HoloLens and then Dynamics), and is currently an Architect at Microsoft working on AI.
In his spare time, he paints abstract oils, is an avid gamer, lifts weights, and reads – a lot! He is currently working on a sci-fi series (publishing under a pen name).
He lives in Seattle, Washington, with his Wife, Arika, and their three cats.
