Sydney’s inner-city suburb Surry Hills will soon be teeming with overnight millionaires after Australia’s biggest software company Canva kicked off a staff share sale at its new $65 billion valuation, saying it is already oversubscribed.

In an email seen by The Australian Financial Review, co-founder and chief operating officer Cliff Obrecht of the Surry Hills-based design software company wrote to staff on Wednesday to outline the terms of the sale.
