Atlassian’s Mike Cannon-Brookes freezes hiring amid global tech sell-off and AI concerns

Australian software giant Atlassian has called a halt on hiring engineers and filling other related roles, rolling back its global recruitment as its shares take a beating from the impact of artificial intelligence.

Applicants in the final stages of interviews with the Mike Cannon-Brookes-helmed company have reported being left in the lurch since the start of February when the hiring freeze was initiated.
