On the 14th March 2015, I posted my first blog post on worldofmatthew.com. Exactly 10-years ago.
Today, there are three blog posts being published. This one (Part 1) to celebrate ten years. Part 2 is dedicated to plans for this website, with part 3 looking at how I plan my life to look like over the next 5 years.
A Celebration of a Decade
I started “World of Matthew” as a way of making a new start after I turned 18-years-old. As a way of separating my childhood from adulthood. It didn’t post any content for several months after registering the domain.
In March 2015, I finally posted my first blog post after installing WordPress but did not post regularly until 2016 (after moving to a static website before moving back to WordPress before ultimately moving to HUGO in 2018).
In 2022, I made the first in the series of design updates to worldofmatthew.com to improve navigation as the different section were disorganised. In the following years, I made further improvements and posted newer content and created a new section for videos and autism related articles.
As this website reaches its 10th anniversary, I finally feel this website has reached a stage where redesigns are less needed. Only minor changes.
Ultimately, this blog post is to say thank you to everyone who has visited my website over the past decade.
This website has an exciting future which will follow my future. But that will be covered in part 2 (Website and content plans) and part 3 (My future).
