
Many small websites adopt the same spying tactics as major websites, via analytics.
The problem is analytical data shows what content is popular. Putting pressure on the webmaster to keep writing content for other people, rather than for themselves.
Effectively, going from “personal” websites to generic posts, suited for normies.
That’s one advantage of me turning off any type of logging within Nginx (both website and video CDN nodes).
I keep full freedom to write and say what I really think without worrying what anyone else thinks. Keeping full creative freedom.
I will never write or create videos for other people’s interests. Only the things that are interesting to me gets created
Fuck market research and ChatGPT slop. Creativity comes from within.
