Most personal websites don’t last long. Made worse by meme’ers with “.xyz” domains who think generic “based” content is all that’s needed without personality.
This website (World of Matthew), now 11 years old. Has grown with me. Sections added, removed, and many blog posts published. Evolution that continues to this day.
Website theme changes
I’ve changed the website theme to support future growth and fix problems built over many years of Hugo updates. I’ve also switched to a simpler colour scheme and more consistent category layouts.
Cleaner. Consistent. Navigable. Without soydev crap.
Content updates
The past 12 months as seen a massive growth in both blog posts and videos. Something that will further increase into the rest of 2026. I’m also researching new review and tutorial topics for the upcoming months.
In making “World of Matthew” more personal, there’s now a gallery of photographs I’ve (mostly, excluding a few of me) taken. 83 photos added so far, with many more to come.
All in. Better and more personal content.
The future
Don’t expect any major changes to the website design. I’m focusing on real life from now on. With many blog posts being written on a MacBook Neo while out-and-about. Writing about the adventures I’m having, what I’m thinking, my creative work, and my progress towards a future.
There, of course, will be many new blog posts, more photos uploaded, and even more videos created.
More Content. Better Videos.
Thank you for following my website for the past 11 years. The adventure has just begun. Years of progress in real life and on the website have made this possible. The past 11 years are only the start.
