Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between VibeKeys Max and VibeKeys Plus?
VibeKeys Plus ($49) is the wireless version of VibeKeys Pro — same compact form factor with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi added. VibeKeys Max ($99) is the full-featured model with a TFT status display, Claude Code remote mode, built-in microphone, and an ergonomic keyboard layout. If you want to control Claude Code from the couch, Max is the one.
How does remote mode work?
VibeKeys Max connects to your computer over Wi-Fi and works with the open-source vibetty server. Once set up, you can accept/reject AI suggestions, trigger voice input, and control Claude Code from anywhere in the room — no need to be at your desk.
Can I choose my case color?
Yes. Each unit is 3D printed to order, so you can choose your case color when you order. You can also add custom text and we'll print it on the case — great for personalizing or gifting.
How long does shipping take?
Each unit is 3D printed and assembled to order. Ships within 5 business days — most orders arrive within 10-16 days. Shipping is free worldwide.
Does it work with tools other than Claude Code?
Yes. In keyboard mode, VibeKeys Max works with any tool that accepts keyboard shortcuts — Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Cursor, and more. Remote mode is designed specifically for Claude Code via the vibetty server.
How does voice input work?
The microphone key toggles popular voice typing tools like Typeless and Wispr Flow. In remote mode, the built-in microphone captures your voice and sends it to Claude Code via the vibetty server.
Can I remap the keys?
Yes. Every key is remappable using the VibeKeys CLI. You can assign any shortcut, modifier combo, or text macro. The firmware is open source, so you can customize it even further if you want.
