Workstation performance
The StarFighter is tuned for compiling, virtual machines, containers, and sustained workloads — with firmware, thermals, and power behaviour engineered for consistent high performance over long sessions.
Not a gaming laptop with Linux added afterwards, but a workstation designed as a complete Linux system.
High benchmark scores are easy. Sustained performance under real workloads is harder.

The invisible bits, made visible
Firmware configuration, updates, and platform integration are developed in-house by a small UK-based team working close to the coreboot and EDK II ecosystems.
The result is a shorter path from firmware to Linux desktop: configurable controls, signed updates, measured boot, and development that stays visible over time.
