It has been pointed out that this is not a gnu project or CoC This is however a project associated with gnu somehow (???) And linked to by their website gnu.org/software/flex/

So yea if your defense is "this isn't GNU" then perhaps you should do what you can to make that lack of a relationship more formal. I would do it myself but afaik I don't have any "GNU Friends" who would know how to get that link removed from the website.

And shame on you
