Working from a mate's place today, he's a tech lead / engineer for a global startup and works from home full time. He's been teaching his son Jack about computers. Jack has built his own computer from scratch out of old computer parts laying around.
Jack has been learning Linux and maintains his own machine which he uses for all of his homework. He's also been learning HTML/CSS/JS and has built a website that tells knock-knock jokes.
Jack doesn't know about USB sticks, because his dad is a sadist. Jack backs up his work on 3 1/4" floppies which give him 1.44MB of space for his whole website. Jack doesn't write bloated SPAs like other kids because Jack is a hipster's son.
