Amazon is a broken mess. I have done over $50,000,000 on amazon. They dont care about me as a seller, partner, or person. I uploaded this design patent Was told “stop contacting me” What went wrong inside amazon? why do they hate small businesses and the law? A thread:

Amazon is a hotbed of knock offs and copyright violations. Unless you think yyjy2021store has somehow obtained a license to pokemon, the hardest on earth to get… Every search has the same 4 things: Ads, counterfeits, aliexpress slop, and more ads.

How did we get here? How did the premium marketplace become temu jr? THEY SIMPLY DONT CARE. It is not profitable for them to protect IP holders. Amazon makes all its money on ads and volume. More sellers means more ads. More sellers, even the obvious counterfeiters, buy ads.

That is the real business of amazon .com. It isnt prime, it isnt fulfillment. Those are just walls to the ads based garden. 100% of their profit last year came from increase ad take. But sean- arent they worried about being sued by IP holders?

Amazon is a literal trillion dollar company. If they wanted to have a clean marketplace, they could get it done in 2 days. But they want to create systems where they never make a decision.

They have APEX and trademark reporting, but as soon as they have to make a call, they just throw their hands up and say “dont email us anymore”

I am so livid- as someone who has given amazon millions, and millions, in ad dollars over the years, I just get pushed to the side. And everyone is too scared to say shit. They dont want to be banned. Well I dont care. Amazon is a parasite on my business.

Do you know the niche I compete in is called “ridge wallet for men” The entire sub section of amazon is named after me. I dont need amazon. I have a 100m+ shopify store. I think amazon needs me, a legitimate and real brand.

If they wont protect their premium sellers, the ones who can afford ads, then their business is doomed. Amazon's business will deteriorate if it becomes temu. Referral fees go down, customer trust is lost, ad revenue goes down. Remember- I do 25m+ a year...

Here is a list of my ignored IP: This design patent is the most egregious. This is the seller I tried to assert it against. The test for a design patent is, can an ordinary consumer be confused? Well… you're reading this. Does picture 1 look like picture 2?

Then lets talk about our ITC action. We have a general exclusion order from the international trade commission. Infringing products are not allowed to be imported. we have over a dozen utility + design patents + 2x that pending. what did AMZN say? “DO NOT CONTACT US ANYMORE”

Is this the way to treat an 8 figure seller? What about an 8 figure spender? What about the US government, that you are just casually ignoring? Every seller is too scared to talk back to the big beast... And they just put up with the knock offs and abuse.

have to mute the thread- As of this getting 3,000 likes exactly 1 amazon employee has reached out. A finance manager, but still grateful for him! 1- to all our customers, thank you for the support! Whatever you need, I am here to help! 2- to all the fellow brands, I am sorry you

I fail to see how active litigation is incompatible with a takedown request for IP infringement.
