LLMs create a new category of apps. Whoever figures out how to map their industry's needs with the new possibles, while finding pragmatic workarounds to LLM issues like hallucinations or compliance specific to their app, wins.

@ylecunI'm not joining the ranks of people who have been ELIZA'd by ChatGPT and think that LLMs are human-level AI. But LLMs will shuffle the cards of the software industry and many incumbents (even startups) will lose.
Agreed. Just like most SaaS companies are “just” a wrapper around cloud compute. E.g Dropbox is a wrapper around S3. LLMs are the new infrastructure they will be commoditized. What matters is product experience, GTM, distribution and ultimately owning customer relationship
