Fact: LaCie doesn’t make its own hard drives. Inside there’s just a regular Seagate drive, not any better than other Seagate drives. You pay more for LaCie because you get a premium enclosure + you’re gullible to branding. Also, Seagate owns LaCie, kinda like Toyota owns Lexus.
