@once_readingwith my 2nd grader this whole summer and it has (i do not exaggerate) LIVE CHANGING. If you have ever tried using the book "teach your kid to read in 100 easy lessons," it's that but ACTUALLY teaches you how to teach reading. My kiddo was left behind in his K class; like a lot of kids was not taught the basics of phonics. We did the book, we read alot, we sounded out - but didn't have a structured way to make sure he was learning the fundamentals of english. Once is INCREDIBLE, both as a parent and as a kid--he has done nearly 100 days in a row. It's a very special 15 minutes we spend together every day, and we can't wait to see what Aliss, Sam, Matt, Eve and Captain Rob are going to get into next.
