What is a timestamp camera?
A timestamp camera puts the date, time and location right on your photo, so everyone can see when and where it was taken. This one works in your browser — there is no app to install.
Use the live camera to shoot with the stamp already on the picture, or upload photos you already have. The date they were taken is read from the photo automatically.
Why use it?
- Proof for work: site inspections, deliveries, repairs, before and after photos.
- The real date and GPS location — not the day you edit the photo.
- Six stamp styles, from a classic corner stamp to a retro film date.
- Private: your photos are processed on your device and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no limits and no watermark from us.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Your browser asks for permission before it uses the camera.
Where does the location come from?
From your device when you use the camera, or from the GPS data saved in uploaded photos. You can also type any address yourself.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens on your device, in your browser.
Why does my photo show the wrong date?
Photos sent through messaging apps often lose their original date. Open Date and choose Custom to set the right one.
