Can I write my own words?
Nope. Our service offers a selection of preset messages for you to choose from, making it easy to send a thoughtful note without overthinking it. Besides, if we let folks write their own messages, someone will inevitably write something inappropriate (and we’d rather not have to deal with that). That said, you can choose your own sender identity, which is the name that will be printed on the back of the third card.
Can I pick out the colors and designs?
Yes. Once you choose the words you want to send, you can select from one of our preset templates or click “Surprise” and we’ll pick something nice for you. If you are feeling creative, flip the “Customize” switch and you can style the colors and fonts of the postcards as much as you want.
Can I send postcards later than the current date?
Yes. You can select any date up to 90 days in the future. Flip the “Send later” switch and you’ll see a date picker appear above each card. Then, choose when you want the first, second, or third card to arrive. The app will do its best to give you an idea of when the cards will arrive based on the date you select. Once you place your order, we’ll schedule the cards and you’ll get an email confirming the dates of delivery.
What if I change my mind after I order?
We offer the ability to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. If you do choose to cancel within that time, we’ll refund your order, no questions asked. If you need to cancel after that, we’re really sorry because we’ve already started printing the cards!
Will you let me know when you send the cards?
Yes. We will send you an email once we ship out each card. This could take up to 48-72 hours, depending on when you place your order. You’ll also receive a proof email (with PDF attachments) prior to sending the cards so you can make sure everything looks good. There is also one final email that goes out to let you know the receipient should have received all of the cards.
What if I make a mistake with the recipient’s address?
Our address autocomplete feature will help you quickly fill in the address fields. In most cases, we can correct the address for you. But, if we are unable to do so, you’ll get an email letting you know that will have a link for you to update the address. If you don’t update the address within 24 hours, we’ll automatically cancel your order.
How long does it take for the postcards to show up?
It usually takes about 7 days for the cards to arrive once they ship. In some cases it can take much longer. While we try our best to estimate when the cards will arrive, there are a lot of factors we can’t control. From the initial order to the last card delivered, the whole process can take up to 5 weeks.
Do you print the postcards yourself?
We use a third party vendor to print and ship the postcards. This ensures that your cards will look great and get to your recipient’s mailbox as expected. If you’re curious about how we built this, check out this blog post.
Do you send outside the United States?
Not yet. For now we can only send cards to the United States. We hope to expand our services to other destinations in the future.
