Teeming.ai Puzzle of the Week (2025-10-21)

2 min read Original article ↗

This is our first in a series of puzzles to showcase our community!

Please send solutions to hello@teeming.ai, ideally with your full name and any social handles. We will reach out to the winner (first person to submit a correct solution) and post a short bio/Q&A of them with their permission. No prizes, only glory!

During the recent AWS us-east-1 outage, Skynet Industries Inc’s servers were affected by a strange bug which caused their LLM tokenisation pipeline to go haywire. Now users are complaining that flagship product, SkynetGPT, is returning nonsense answers. You investigate the logs and find all the prompts had their tokens scrambled, and ditto the responses.

Your task is to look at the prompt/response pairs from the logs and come up with the correct mapping between the scrambled tokens and the original tokens. Every token has a unique mapping to another token in the same set (self-mapping is allowed).

Please submit your solutions to hello@teeming.ai by 2025-10-31 with a .yaml or .json file containing the token mappings, alongside a brief description of how you solved the problem. If you used an LLM to generate the solution, it should be one-shotted with a single prompt. Please include any prompt (with model used) or code used.

The world’s best AI startups are built by technical people like you. There’s just one problem though. They can’t always find you and you can’t always find them. Technical opportunities in startups are all over the place. They’re nestled on company websites, mentioned on social platforms, or posted on undiscovered job boards. Which means your dream job is probably out there, it’s just impossible to find. That’s why Teeming exists. We’ve mapped out more than 24,000 AI startups and consistently have over 30,000 technical roles on our platform. Then we work with you to find the one you’ll love and introduce you to the founders.
