How do I embed Polymarket odds on Substack?

With the Polymarket embed feature, you can integrate market prediction data into your notes and posts that allows your subscribers to follow news on some of the most hotly debated topics across current events, sports, politics, crypto, and more.

Polymarket events can be directly embedded on Substack using the Polymarket search feature or by adding a shareable link to a post or note. A shareable link can look like this:

 https://polymarket.com/event/2026-winter-olympics-most-gold-medals

How do I embed Polymarket odds into my post?

1. On the web version of your Substack, first sign into your Substack account and click “Dashboard”. Select “Create new” and select an article, video, or podcast post.

2. Click "More" in the editor toolbar and select "Prediction market".

3. In the pop-up, search for an event using keywords or a phrase.

4. Select whether you'd like to embed a snapshot view (current odds) or a trend view (line graph over time).

5. The Polymarket embed will automatically load and appear as a widget in your post. It will automatically refresh with the latest odds. If you'd like to change the placement of the widget, select and drag the image to the desired spot.

How do I embed Polymarket odds into a note?

On web

1. Open the notes composer on a computer or on mobile web.

2. Click on the three dots and select Prediction market. In the pop-up, search for an event using keywords or a phrase. A snapshot view of the Polymarket event will appear with the option to switch to a trend view.

3. Once you're ready to publish, click on Post.

On the Substack app

Embedding a Polymarket event into a note is available on the Substack iOS and Android apps. Follow the steps below on how to embed on the Substack iOS app.

1. Tap on the plus sign and the notes composer will open up. Click on the Prediction market icon (looks like a crystal ball) and search for an event.

2. A snapshot view of the Polymarket event will appear in your note. When you're ready to share your note, select Post.

Once published via the web or the Substack app, a note with the Polymarket event will appear in the Substack Notes feed. Notes will also appear in the Activity tab of your Substack profile.

What will my subscribers see?

Your subscribers will be able to view real-time changes of the Polymarket widget on the web version of your Substack and on the Substack app.

For email newsletters, Polymarket embeds will appear as an image. Readers can view real-time changes by clicking on "View polymarket" in the post and a new browsing tab will appear on their device.

Note: At this time, the Prediction market icon cannot be hidden or disabled from your Notes composer.
