Troubleshooting issues with Workspace Labs features

If you have trouble accessing Workspace Labs features, try the solutions below:

Turn off Workspace Labs features

To turn off Workspace Labs features, you must exit Workspace Labs. If you exit, you permanently lose access to all Workspace Labs features, and you can’t rejoin Workspace Labs.

To permanently exit Workspace Labs, go to Google Docs, Google Slides, Sheets, Gmail, or Meet.

How to exit from Gmail

  1. On your computer, go to Gmail.
  2. At the top, click Settings .
  3. In the Labs program notification, click Opt out.
  4. Click Opt out and reload.

How to exit from Meet

To opt out of Workspace Labs:

  1. On your computer, go to Meet.
  2. At the top right, click Settings .
  3. On the left, click Workspace Labs and then Opt out.
