Help
SQL Frames provides the best pivot table component available in the market. It features
- Multiple fields in pivot rows and columns
- Multiple metrics in pivot values
- Displaying totals and sub-totals along both the row and column axis
- Show Values As options to display alternate views of the data relative to other cells in the pivot table
- Absolute and relative time buckets (for example, you can view multiple years as rows and months or quarters as columns for a compact and effective layout while doing a trend analysis)
- Sort data along columns (like regular data table) or along the rows
The UI presented here is the pivot table designer UI created for the purpose of this demo. The SQL Frames low code API provides even greater control than what is possible with this designer.
Once the pivot table is presented to end users, they have flexibility to adjust the pivot table layout using the Configure Pivot menu option. Some of the actions that end users can perform on a pivot table are
- Transpose (interchange rows and columns) the pivot table
- Move the pivot row and column fields around with drag and drop
- View a subset of the pivot values
- Display pivot values in columns or rows (stacked)
- Adjust totals to be present on the left or right
- Adjust column headers and value grouping order
The pivot table is refreshed immediately as the user adjusts the configuration.
