Bronze
×1 XP
Every confirmed capture starts here.
Silver
×1.25 XP
A clean, well-exposed shot of your subject.
Gold
×1.6 XP
Sharp, well-framed and clearly readable.
Diamond
×2 XP
A flawless, gallery-worthy capture.
Recapture to upgrade: your best photo replaces the old one and you bank the XP difference. A confident ID is required to reach Gold and above.

Can I download the app now?
Not yet. Snapfari isn't on the App Store or Google Play yet, but it's coming soon. Sign up and we'll email you the moment the beta opens.
How does the app recognize animals?
You take a photo and our AI identification determines the species within seconds, then adds it to your collection. An anti-cheat system checks that it's a genuine sighting.
Do I need to get close to wild animals?
Snapfari encourages you to observe from a distance without disturbing wildlife: a photo taken with a zoom lens or from a safe distance is enough to validate a capture.
How many species can I collect?
More than 164 species at launch. The catalog keeps growing.
Which phones does the app run on?
Snapfari is coming to iOS and Android.
What happens to my photos and data?
Your photos stay yours. A picture is used only to identify the species at that moment, then it's discarded, we never store your photos on our servers. Captures can also be geolocated: with your permission, the GPS coordinates are saved so you can later see your captured animals on a map. We don't sell your data.
