Building a BILLY
This is IKEA's manual for the BILLY bookcase, with a 3D model that builds it step by step. Each step starts from the drawing's angle, and you can turn it around to see the rest.
What's in the box
Two sides, a top, a bottom, a fixed shelf, a plinth, four shelves and a back that comes folded in three. Plus 82 pieces of hardware: 16 dowels, 12 cam screws, 12 cam locks, 18 nails, 16 shelf pins and two wall brackets with their screws and washers. The cyan outline on the wall is the finished bookcase.
How a cam lock works
A cam screw goes into the side with its head sticking out. When a board goes on, the head drops into a round cam lock in the board. Give the cam half a turn clockwise and a ramp inside it pulls the head in, clamping the boards together. The dowels just line things up, and once the back's nailed on, it keeps the whole thing square.

The LACK table
Pick LACK table (or press ⇧K) for IKEA's LACK side table. The whole manual is one drawing and you don't need tools. It stops once the legs are on, so the model flips the table over as a third step.
How accurate it is
The parts, part numbers and order of steps come from the manual, and the size is IKEA's 80 × 28 × 202 cm. Board thickness, hole positions and shelf heights are eyeballed from the drawings. The manual says to get a second person whenever you lift or turn the whole case.
Fix it to the wall. The manual's first warning is that a bookcase can kill someone if it tips over, and that's what the brackets in step 12 are for. Wall screws aren't included, since the right ones depend on your wall.
