Rewiring
Since the opening salvo, campaigns have been waged on both sides of the border
Victories:
- managed to pivot one project from SQL Server to PostgreSQL a few weeks before release
- lobbying started on basing new on-prem infra on Linux instead of Windows
- ditched Github Copilot license for JetBrains AI, since it's now well supported in Rider. It works beautifully with self-hosted models 🦾
- MS Teams continues to terrorize the local populace, raising fighting spirit across the board
Territories lost:
- GH Copilot has claimed some more victims
- A project had to be deployed to Azure instead of on-prem for REDACTED and REDACTED reasons
All in all, the troops should be prepared for a long conflict, but rest assured, victory can be achieved by our sweat, coffee and tears!
