Satellite Loop Interactive Data Explorer in Real-time with GOES-16 and Himawari-8 Satellite Imagery

To keep a particular feature in the same place to your screen (i.e. storm-relative):

1. Move to an image/timestamp with the feature you want to follow
2. Click the feature in that image
3. Move to a different image/timestamp with the same feature you want to follow
4. Click the same feature in that image

• Your chosen feature will now stay at the same point on your screen while looping
• Move the green and red boxes to adjust the start and end images and locations
• Check/uncheck "Hide" to hide/show the graphics
• Check/uncheck "Follow Feature" to turn on/off the imagery's motion on the screen while it loops
• The yellow box shows the approximate position of the feature for the current image/time
• Click the "Clear" button to completely turn off the feature

Click this box to close it before it closes automatically.
