High-ROI Content & Resilient Infrastructure

For the modern solopreneur, technology should be a means to an end, not a burden to bear.

I'm Jay Brunet. For three decades I've operated at the intersection of artistic vision and hardcore engineering. I help successful owner-operators, niche content creators, and marketing teams escape the trap of technical complexity so they can focus on what actually drives revenue: the message.

My career has been defined by a simple philosophy: Simple systems scale, complex systems break. Whether I'm managing the server infrastructure for an enterprise AI company or crafting evergreen content for a boutique consultant, my goal is to maximize impact while minimizing maintenance.

The Evolution of Authority

The era of writing blogs for search engine optimization is ending. The future belongs to those who can train AI models on their expertise and distribute high-retention video content across social platforms.

I'm currently pivoting my practice and my clients toward this new reality. My focus is on creating "Information Products" and digital assets that can be created once and sold and referenced repeatedly.

  1. AI Video Workflow
I utilize advanced workflows to transform text and ideas into compelling, narrated video slideshows. By leveraging the latest image-to-video models and voice synthesis, I help clients turn static ideas into distributed assets. You provide the expertise or the rough concept. I use custom prompting and generation tools to produce visual narratives that explain your value proposition without you needing to turn on a camera.
  2. Training the Future: Structured PDFs
In the near future, your customers will not find you via Google search. They'll find you because an AI model recommends you. To ensure your business is understood by these models, I create high-authority, structured PDF documents using the Typst language. These documents serve a dual purpose: they are premium resources for your human audience and structured data for AI training, ensuring your brand authority survives the platform shift.
  3. Static Simplicity
I advocate moving away from bloated content management systems. For clients who want speed and security without the headaches, I develop solutions using SRVsite, my custom Golang template server. Or migrate them to low-maintenance platforms like Squarespace.

A Foundation of Technical Excellence

While my focus is shifting toward content and AI, my reputation is built on rock-solid infrastructure. I function as a single point of contact for my clients, handling everything from Linux server administration to DNS management.

My quarterly or yearly hosting fees act as a retainer. This ensures that when you have a technical emergency, you are not calling a help desk, you are calling the engineer who built the stack.

My track record includes:

  • Enterprise Lead Generation: For SparkCognition, an AI leader, I refactored lead-gen architecture to cut trial provisioning time from 90 seconds to 2 seconds, while managing complex integrations between Pantheon, Salesforce and 3rd party APIs.
  • High-Volume Scale: Supporting a recipe blogger with millions of pageviews where other hosts failed. I managed the sheer volume of traffic while using custom CSS/HTML to optimize ad placements, directly increasing passive revenue.
  • Long-Term Partnerships: Serving professionals, such as staffing agencies, who require their digital presence to remain pristine year after year with little effort on their part. From fixing email deliverability to updating content from hand-written notes, I handle the details so they can handle their business.

The Next Chapter

I'm deeply interested in the mechanics of how we produce value. I'm currently writing a book focused on the early stages of the creative process, exploring the subconscious foundational groundwork required to envision and execute world-class work.

As I focus on lucrative projects and the creation of my own information products, I am highly selective about taking on new clients. I'm not looking for volume, I'm looking for fit.
