How are the pitches being judged?

Just don't be boring. We are looking for the best / craziest / ambitious-est / funniest / smartest ideas.

Can I use AI?

Sure. We're not your Mom.

When will the winners be announced?

In October 2026.

How much does it cost to enter? Is this some big profit scheme?

It costs $0 to enter. So no. Not much profit. For us it's the opposite of profit, actually. We are paying you (if you win).

Are there limits on who can compete? Can I submit multiple entries?

Every entry is manually reviewed before it goes up on the site. We plan to approve most entries but reserve the right to hide any we think are not a good fit. Typically those include entries we see as overly inappropriate or vulgar. If you have questions, email us: hello@pitchwhaletank.com. You can read the full terms and conditions here.

Can I join from anywhere in the world?

Yes. But if you join from a country that is not supported by Wise or Revolut or similar (e.g. North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, Belarus, Myanmar, Libya, Venezuela, Zimbabwe), then it may be difficult or impossible for us to get you the money should you win. More in the official rules.

Why WhaleTank? Why not some more aggressive-animal-tank?

Whales are awesome. Also we don't want to get sued by any aggressive-animal-tank branded companies.
