What It Does
Photo Triager helps photographers quickly sort through RAW photos on their iPhone or iPad. Open a folder from any storage accessible through iOS Files, mark your picks, rejects, star ratings, and color labels, and move on. The app writes standard XMP sidecar files so your decisions carry over seamlessly to darktable or Lightroom on your desktop.
How It Works
- Open a folder using the iOS Files picker — your SD card reader, external SSD, iCloud Drive, or any connected storage.
- Browse the gallery — the app scans the folder and shows thumbnails of all supported RAW files.
- Triage — tap a photo to enter full-screen view. Swipe through photos and set triage status: reject, pick, star ratings (1–5), or color labels (red, yellow, green, blue, purple).
- Continue on desktop — XMP sidecar files are written next to your RAW files, ready for darktable or Lightroom.
