How to play
- 1. Drag across the board to draw a rectangle. Its area must match the number inside. A 4, for example, can be 2×2 or 1×4.
- 2. Each patch must contain exactly one clue.
- 3. Cover every playable cell. Patches cannot overlap unless a double-layer cell requires it.

Gold Square
This clue must sit inside a square patch. A 4 therefore needs a 2×2 patch.

Hidden Number (?)
The number is hidden. Use the open space and nearby clues to work out its area.

Linked Patch (Tags A, B...)
Clues with the same letter need patches of the same width and height.
Fixed Patch
This patch is already sewn in place. Build around it.
2 Layers (Double Zones)
This striped cell must be crossed by two different patches.

Directional clue
The arrow requires a wider horizontal patch or a taller vertical patch.
Coffee-stained clue
A coffee blot hides the clue until you place a patch next to it.
