How to use this breeding calculator
Parents → Child
Got two Pals ready for the Breeding Farm? Select them as Parent 1 and Parent 2. The child shows up immediately — including special unique recipes when those parents match one. From there you can check the child’s stats or switch modes to hunt for more parent pairs.
Target → Parents
Already know what you want — Anubis for the base, Jetragon for travel, Frostallion, or something else? Switch to Target → Parents, pick that Pal, and scan the parent pairs you can actually farm toward instead of testing random couples.
How Palworld breeding works (quick version)
In-game, the same two parents always hatch the same child species. You still need one male, one female, and Cake at the Breeding Farm — but which one is male or female does not change the child species, and swapping parent order does not either.
For most pairs, the game blends the two parents and lands on a nearby eligible Pal. Special variants (many Cryst / Lux / Terra lines) are skipped by that search — they only hatch from their unique recipes or from two parents of the same variant. That is why lots of different couples still hatch the same common eggs.
A smaller set of pairs are special recipes. Those fixed combinations always make a specific child (Lux / Cryst lines and similar uniques) and override the normal result when they apply.
This calculator follows the same order as the game: unique recipes first, then normal breeding. Plan your farm before you spend Cake. After a big patch, double-check anything important in your own world.

Breeding calculator FAQ
- What can this breeding calculator do?
- Two jobs: tell you what child two parents will produce, or list parent pairs that can hatch a Pal you already want. Use it before you put Cake in the Breeding Farm.
- How do I find ways to breed a specific Pal?
- Switch to Target → Parents, choose the Pal you want, and browse the parent pairs. Want a longer searchable list? Open that Pal’s full combo guide from the links under the results.
- Does gender or parent order change the child?
- Almost never for the species. You still need one male and one female (plus Cake) for the Breeding Farm to run. Parent order does not matter either — A with B is the same as B with A. The rare exception is Katress × Wixen, where which parent is female chooses between Katress Ignis and Wixen Noct.
- Why do so many pairs hatch the same common Pal?
- That is just how normal breeding works in Palworld — a lot of mid-tier couples land on nearby common eggs. If you want something rarer, use Target → Parents for that Pal, or look for a unique recipe pair.
- Is the calculator up to date?
- It uses our current game data for Palworld 1.0, including unique recipes and normal breeding results. Patches can change things — if a hatch surprises you after an update, tell us and we will refresh the tables.
