Money still matters. Rank21 changes how much ranking power each dollar can buy; it does not guarantee that an early listing can never be passed.
What makes Rank21 different from other outbid boards?
Rank21 ranks paid listings by active Rank Power rather than by a raw cumulative dollar total. RP has a fixed 21,000,000 supply split across ten issuance eras. Each later era gives half as much RP per dollar, so timing affects purchasing power. Every ranked position is still sponsored, and higher active RP can move above earlier listings.
Why do earlier boosts cost less?
Every issuance era contains 2,100,000 RP, but the dollar rate halves when a new era begins. Era 1 gives 10,000 RP per dollar, Era 2 gives 5,000, and the pattern continues. The RP already issued to a confirmed boost does not shrink, so obtaining the same ranking weight later requires progressively more money.
Can a later buyer still outrank me?
Yes. Rank21 gives earlier dollars more purchasing power; it does not lock an early listing into a permanent position. A later sponsor can buy enough RP to pass an existing listing, and other boosts can change the board while checkout is open. Your final RP and position are determined only when the payment is confirmed.
What happens after a refund or chargeback?
A successful refund, reversal, or confirmed chargeback removes the corresponding active RP from that listing. The removed RP is permanently burned: it stops affecting rank and is not issued again. Issuance never moves backward, so a refund does not restore an earlier era or make the old lower rate available to future buyers.
What is a Founding Profile?
A Founding Profile is one of at most 21 reviewed public profiles for AI products. It is free and unranked, with no RP, paid position, Genesis number, or Sponsored badge. The profile helps an early product explain what it does, but only a separately completed paid boost can place that product on the Leaders board.
Does a paid rank guarantee traffic, sales, or backlinks?
No. A Rank21 position is a paid sponsored placement, not an endorsement, quality review, or performance promise. It may help people discover a product, but Rank21 does not guarantee visits, customers, revenue, backlinks, PageRank, or search-engine positions. Paid outbound listing links are marked sponsored and nofollow so their commercial nature is explicit.
