Frequently Asked Questions

Notch Arcade is a Mac game collection that lives in the MacBook notch. It includes 11 small keyboard-first games: six arcade games, three puzzle games, and two idle games. It costs $4.99 once, includes every future game, and needs no account.

The launch set is 11 games. Arcade: Runner, Snake, Pong, Breakout, Blocks, and Shooter. Puzzles: 2048, Solitaire, and Word Scramble. Idle: Miner and Farm. Every game plays with the keyboard, and all except Miner and Farm have global leaderboards.

Notch Arcade started as a fix for my own workday. Notch Arcade runs on any Mac with macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. One universal download covers both, and the whole app is under 2 MB.
