Questions & answers
What is NoMac?+
An iOS publishing pipeline that runs entirely in the cloud: it builds, signs, uploads to TestFlight, and submits to the App Store. You — or your AI agent — drive it through a CLI, API, or MCP.
Really — no Mac?+
Really. Builds run on cloud Macs, and testing happens on your own iPhone through TestFlight. You never open Xcode.
What do I have to set up myself?+
Apple gates a few things behind a human, one time:
- ·An Apple Developer account — $99/yr, paid to Apple
- ·An App Store Connect API key — created once, pasted into NoMac
- ·The App Privacy questions — a short form before your first release
- ·TestFlight on your iPhone — one tap on the invite
The setup wizard walks you through each step and verifies it live. We never ask for your Apple ID password.
What runs on autopilot?+
Everything after that — every build, every release, hands-off:
- ·Certificates, provisioning & signing
- ·Cloud-Mac release builds
- ·TestFlight upload & distribution
- ·Crash & tester-feedback collection
- ·App Store metadata & screenshots
- ·Review-readiness checks
- ·The App Store submission itself
Which agents work with it?+
Any agent that speaks MCP or can run a CLI — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and the rest. NoMac ships no LLM; your agent brings the intelligence.
How do I start?+
Sign in with Apple and pick a plan. Then tell your agent to read
nomac.app/install — or run npx @nomac/cli login
in your app's folder. Your first build lands on your phone minutes later.
