Introducing the ZSA Backpack

Hello there,

We made a backpack! I wish I could be all "chill Jony Ive" about this launch but the truth is I'm vibrating with excitement. It's the world's first backpack for split keyboard users. It is so good.

Yes, a backpack from ZSA. It's made with recycled technical fabric by fairly-paid workers in a Bluesign-certified factory. We made so many iterations, gradually molding it into our dream backpack. It even comes with an ergonomic laptop stand. It spent a month with me on the road as my sole gear bag. It went to the top of an active volcano with Jo. This bag can do it all.


As you can guess, this is not a pre-order. These are in stock, available to ship right now. US-bound stock ships from our own facility in Detroit. This is not some third-party logistics thing, it's our very own Nick lovingly packing, labeling, and shipping each and every bag our US customers order. And that means those US customers get the bag quickly and don't have to pay customs on arrival. (Below you can see Nick, testing the backpack last winter.)

For all of our international customers, we are shipping from Taiwan, with just as much loving care from Tibbo's team, where all our keyboards ship from.



Okay, that's enough about the logistics. This backpack has been such a journey that we're making a mini-documentary on what it took to bring it to you, but that's for another day.
