I tried a number of options and Msty Studio seemed the obvious choice. I particularly like the flexibility among local and remote model providers, the automatic syncing knowledge stacks feature, and being able to run the same interface on my phone.

Similar applications are creating open source apps hoping that you'll buy their hosting services or whatever they're pitching. Others are side projects. Msty is focused on the client, the UX, and privacy and it shows. All the others feel...fragile.

I've been using Msty Studio now with the new stacks and I have to say I am really impressed how well it works - especially with reasoning models which think through what they are seeing before responding.

Msty Studio is an incredible tool for productivity and offers so many unique features. Forge Canvas Mode is really cool for uninterrupted focused writing and research. With the Turnstile option, you can create complex flows. All of these tools make complex and highly personal workflows possible. Msty is my daily AI driver.

I have moved from Jan to Msty and i have to admit Msty is highly underrated, of all the tools i have tried, this is the best:fast, no fluff and the interface is very clean

The big difference is openwebui does more with less polish. Msty is more focused and everything it does it does really really well.

Keep in mind, I've used a ton of these tools; Open WebUI, Jan, BigAGI, LobeChat, BoltAI, MindMac, etc; Msty outclasses them all in my opinion.

i've done lmstudio, Jan (mac only...pretty but...i dont know), and openwebui and none are as slick as msty

It ended my journey searching for the right application. It does everything I need. Local llm, ollama integration, rag, online data retrieval just like perpxility (sic). List go on and on, prompt library , customizable yet simple interface .... List go on and on

While Msty App v1.x will continue to be available as we transition to Msty Studio, Msty Studio, including the Desktop application, will be the primary focus moving forward. Msty Studio Desktop is currently in Alpha and available for early access to Aurum subscribers. We are working on a free version of Msty Studio Desktop that will be available to all users in the future, but for now please check out Msty Desktop v1.x for a free experience. For accessing Msty Studio, you can use the same license key you use for Msty App. Please note that the activation limit applies to both Msty App and Msty Studio Desktop.
