Conversation with my son Ethan

Sajid Kalla🎗

Me: “Can you tell me a story ?”

Ethan: “No I don’t know how to tell a story”

“Papa told you many stories.” I said, “Now you tell me one.”

Ethan: “OK. Long story or short story?”

Me: “Long story”

“I know only short stories” Ethan says annoyingly, “I don’t know how to tell long stories!”

“Huh?” I agreed, “Okay, tell a short story then.”

Ethan: “One day.. there was a tiger.. He ate all the deers. The End”

“What??” I complained, “That was too short for a story!”

Ethan: “Because you asked for short story. That’s why I told short story”

Me: Silence

That was rude! He totally set me up. Firstly, he gave me two choices when actually there was only one. And he let me choose the one that he will not give and complained why I chose it.

Secondly, he blamed that I got the one I didn’t want because I chose it!
