Most think posting daily grows reach. Wrong. X doesn’t even know your account yet. Here’s how to fix that.

Quality isn’t the issue, X rewards relevance. New accounts are buried because they have no account history, no trust signals, and no reasons to test distribution to the For You tab. The algorithm favors accounts with history, pushing their posts to similar users. So if you have little history and don’t engage in content of course X won’t know who to show your posts to.

At the start of account building you don’t need to compete with other posts you need to compete with replies. Replies inherit impressions from the parent post. Early replies rank higher and can get massive visibility. This is the most powerful leverage someone can use on the platform. Most replies are low effort, like “🔥🔥🔥”. This creates an opening for high quality as it creates a lower barrier to entry for high engagement replies.

Look for posts that are:

  • Recently posted
  • Low amount of comments
  • Gaining impressions fast

People who stop scrolling the thread and have interest in your reply can do this:

  • Engage with your content
  • Visit your profile
  • Follow for similar content

Then the algorithm learns your niche.

Stop posting into the void. Sniper replies on exploding threads. Build history. Earn trust. Then originals reach strangers. Discipline replies first. Lock in.
