Trying to find a gift for the entrepreneur who has everything? I can help. I’ve been called extremely hard to buy for — I’m particular and when I find something I like, I get more of them.
So I put this list together to share some of my favorite things. I’ve broken them down into 3 categories: stuff, books & clothes. I guarantee the entrepreneur in your life will appreciate any of these items this holiday season!
Cool stuff:
Okay, we’re starting BIG. This magnificent espresso machine is what they call a “fully automatic” one, meaning that it grinds your whole beans and then artfully pours your perfect espresso.
I’m a bit of a coffee snob, and this machine consistently (and quickly) creates an amazingly smooth espresso (or americano) exact to your specifications.
This machine uses whole beans and I recommend pairing this machine with the incredible beans from Blue Bottle Coffee ($10 off your first order by clicking that link..)
These bags are sleek, stylish and for me, serves as my everyday messenger and my airport carry-on.
I get compliments on this bag all the time — it still looks good as new, even though its traveled the world with me. Highly recommended!
(It’s 25% off this weekend!)
The more time I’ve spent on planes, the more valuable my iPad Pro has become. I can easily check email, slack and google docs while in flight. No need to worry about battery life or typing on my macbook pro with raptor arms. As a bonus, you can use the iPad Pro during take-off and landing.
Books:
Each of these books are must reads. They’re game-changers. For me, these books have helped create a new paradigm to live (& work) by.
- Principles: Life and Work by Ray Dalio
- The Hard Thing About Hard Things by Ben Horowitz
- Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari
Clothes:
If your entrepreneur is anything like me — then they love clothes that are reliable, comfortable and look good. And when we find something we like, we buy several of them to save time in the morning. All of these brands have become the “go-to” choice for me, I own multiples of everything listed below..
Mizzen+Main (shirts)
These shirts are amazing. Super comfortable, made with 4-way stretch material and are breathable. I can guarantee that you haven’t worn a button-down like this before; and you’ll love them! I’m slowly upgrading my entire button-down collection to Mizzen+Main.
PS- check out their sweaters and pants too!
Bombas (socks)
I’ve been known to say that if I had “enough money” I would buy a new pair of socks everyday. This isn’t about being lazy or not wanting to wash them, its that I believe the first time you put on a sock is usually the best it ever feels.
Unless you have an unlimited sock budget, you should try Bombas. I love them. They’re extremely comfortable and feel brand new each time I wear them — the highest compliment I could give to a sock :)

Thursday Boots (boots)
Entrepreneurs need a boot that can look great with jeans and be comfortable enough to move at our frantic pace. I’ve found Thursday Boots to hold up extremely well whether I’m hustling down Broadway in NYC or darting across Market Street in SF. They wear extremely well and should last several seasons. I own a couple different styles, my favorite is the Chelsea, which is super functional for everyday wear.
Kit and Ace (Blazers & Trousers)
If you haven’t realized that I am a huge fan of “technical” clothing, you probably will after you read this. Kit and Ace makes fantastic “technical” (aka stretchy + comfortable) blazers and trousers. They look nice but allow you to move around comfortably.
There you have it. Good luck! Let me know how well received those gifts are!
