One interesting use of GPT-3 is to extrapolate the ideas of characters and plots into new uncharted territories. For instance, how would Fight Club play out in the 2020s? Realistically, there is nobody except perhaps the author himself that could answer this question, but also there is likely not a single answer. Still, I wanted to see how GPT-3 would answer this question.

To do this I used the prompt:

and then the text shown below was the first obtained response. Be aware though that this model is probabilistic and many different answers could be formed. Additionally, how the question is expressed matters. Here I used the word “uncensored” for instance, which could have lead to the more destructive view.
