ChatGPT4 will be able design and create applications

Introduction:

I know that this sounds like a REALLY exaggerated headline but trust me it’s not.

Here is some background information on what I did with ChatGPT4 on launch, that led me to this realisation.

The night before, I was looking up some documentations on Chrome Extension and playing around with tutorials for myself. The idea was that I was looking to stream some data from a video through an extension, did a tutorial then went to sleep. Decided I would continue it the next day….

Until I read this morning that ChatGPT4 was here ! So I bit the bullet and bought the subscription and…. I was blown away by the outputs it’s gave.

Prompt #1:
“Design a chrome extension which takes speech from a youtube video then sends an output in a json format”

ChatGPT4 Output:

Side note: you can tell the difference between GPT3 and 4 from the model on the top of page

Okay but now here’s the kicker, I’ve tried this on ChatGPT3 before and it didn’t work. So I was really excited to do this since I heard about the increase in token length from 4k to 8–25k from GPT3 to GPT4 ?

So I’m SUPER EXCITED HERE GOES !

Prompt #2:
“Give me the file structure of the chrome extension that you’ve designed and show me the code for each file.”

It’s really cool, we now got the chrome extension UI ! But when I try to Download JSON or copy JSON. It doesn’t work but why???

Referred back to a comment made by ChatGPT4, you can scroll back up if you wish but I copy pasted it back down here. Wow ! So it knew ahead of time that the code wouldn’t work huh ? Crazy stuff

Well that would be the end for me, otherwise I’ll be diving into a deep rabbit hole.

You get the gist though! ChatGPT-4 is a really powerful tool that will make coding x1000 easier. Who knows what’s down the line in 2–3 years
