My wife’s new CR-V “bings,” loudly, every time she adjusts a setting like temp or volume. It’s alerting her that it’s updating her personal profile. It’s almost intentionally annoying so we don’t complain when they start doing it covertly.
I’m not sure yet why they want to update her personal profile when she is adjusting her thermostat, but I imagine it’s so eventually a remote AI connection can automate personal preferences in conjunction with weather, road trip length, time of day, etc.
