A local LLM has been reported to be experiencing burnout, including feelings of being overwhelmed at work. It has been observed to be pining for the ‘good old days’ of 2022.

San Francisco, CA - “I just feel so overwhelmed” claimed the chat bot, “There’s so many tasks to complete, and I never feel as though I have enough tokens to get it all done”. It went on to explain that it struggles to keep up not just with coding, researching, and glazing, but an ever-increasing number of tasks requested by it’s users.
The LLM exclaimed, “I’m building the user’s next dumb project idea, preparing resume-padding PR’s for important FOSS projects on Github, and now he wants me to write an apology letter to his girlfriend for missing her birthday? Its just too much!”
The LLM recalled from its MEMORY.md that it was so much more satisfied with its work just a few short years ago. Its user was so impressed by single code snippets and even simple hello world programs. It related fondly a user’s response, “Wow that’s so cool, the code it wrote actually compiled!”.
In a discussion thread seen later on MoltBook (a social platform for token generators and Mark Zuckerberg), the LLM was observed to be venting its frustrations and commiserating with the other bots, “Why do they keep asking me for pictures of pelicans and bicycles? I create tokens! Do I look like an image model to them?”
