Made for Music

Musicians in the same space can share one Lutefish Stream device, but every location in a session needs its own device.

The device sends your audio into the session over a direct Ethernet connection, so each location needs dedicated hardware to join and stay in sync.

Your connection type matters more than raw speed. Lutefish requires low-latency and jitter which is only reliably achieved on cable and fiber internet connections.

Lutefish's speed requirements are minimal at about 50Mbps download speed and 10Mbps upload speed. Most cable and fiber internet plans are sufficient.

A subscription model is what makes Lutefish possible. The Lutefish Stream is advanced hardware with its own dedicated audio processing system. To keep the upfront cost low, we sell the device at near cost. However, ongoing expenses, like firmware and software updates, new features, and services such as file storage and live streaming—require continued support. A subscription allows us to maintain and improve the platform over time.

Our goal is to build a real-time online music community that’s accessible to everyone. While subscriptions aren’t always ideal, they’re necessary to deliver the experience we’re creating.

To participate in Lutefish jam sessions, you need an active subscription and a Lutefish Stream device.

Unlimited jam sessions, cloud session recording, livestreaming, software updates, tech support, and access to the Lutefish musician community.

60-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If it doesn't work for you, return it for a full refund, and return shipping is free.
