Microsoft unveils sneak peak at Windows 12

Earlier today, Microsoft unveiled a sneak peak at an early build of Windows 12 — expected to be released in 2024.

The following two screenshots were provided — with no additional details — to showcase the direction that Microsoft is taking with the new version.

The first desktop shows Microsoft’s innovative approach to a new “Start Menu-like” launcher.

And this second screenshot showcases the groundbreaking, experimental file manager — code named “Dolphin” — for Windows 12.

Many Windows users expressed excitement for these highly anticipated new features, with one Windows enthusiast stating to The Lunduke Journal, “This is unlike anything, anyone has ever seen! I can’t believe we need to wait until 2024 to use an operating system that looks this awesome!”
