PC makers have been using laptop-class processors for mini PCs for decades. But since mini PCs are usually taller than laptops and don’t need built-in batteries, there’s usually room for more ports and enhanced cooling, among other things.
But Chinese PC maker FEVM is preparing to launch a mini PC that’s as thin as a laptop, while packing powerful features including an Intel Panther Lake processor, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and an OCuLink adapter.

Pricing and availability haven’t been announced yet, but a social media post from Huang514613 includes some specs and pictures of the upcoming mini PC.
According to the post, the system measures 169 x 108 x 19mm (6.65″ x 4.25″ x 0.75″) and features dual fans inside the chassis to help keep the 55-watt Intel Core Ultra (Series 3) processor and other components cool.
Expansion options are said to include:
- 1 x M.2 slot (PCIe 5.0 x4)
- 1 x M.2 slot (PCIe 4.0 x4 with OCuLink adapter)
- 1 x M.2 slot (PCIe 4.0 x2)
- 2 x Thunderbolt 4
- 1 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet
- 1 x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- 1 x HDMI
- 1 x DisplayPort
- 1 x 3.5mm audio
- 1 x DC power input
Pictures also show several USB Type-A ports, although detailed specs for those ports isn’t available. And there may be multiple configurations, as some pictures show a system with two USB Type-A ports along one short side and an OCuLink port on the other, while other images show both USB-A and OCuLink ports on the same side.
