My Chess Coach app got a 1000 users. Thank you Lichess.
I had the goal to build an app to help chess players improve. Why? I felt most chess analysis software is out dated and does not have clean UIs.
Given that the first two apps / projects I built over the years hit a grand total of 15 users, I am proud to have a 1000 users on my Chess Coach app.
In particular, the tactical detection feature which helps highlights tactics in your own games has proven to be useful for players and myself.
In the main image of of this post you can see the Knight is forking both the Queen on f6 and the pawn on c7. It also highlights which pieces are vulnerable, attacked and defended.
The second key feature that is popular with my users is the ability to find your key moments in your game. The two images below show the revamped mobile view which explains what happened in simple terms in key positions in your games.
I started this journey by posting on Lichess with this blog and I would not have gotten this far with this amazing platform.
