Fan control for Apple Silicon
Hardware limit
Fan control is verified on M1 and M3/M4. Not every Mac is verified. First takeover on some machines takes a few seconds. If firmware will not hand over, Windrose says so.
Built for Macs under sustained load: local AI, long compiles, video exports. Live sensors in the menu bar, plus manual fan control when Auto is not enough.

FAQ
- Does it work on all Apple Silicon Macs?
- Fanless Airs have nothing to drive. On every other Apple Silicon Mac the app reports whether control acquired.
- How is it distributed?
- Direct download. Fan control needs system access the App Store sandbox forbids. Notarized DMG, updates in-app.
- Where do I install it?
- Install in /Applications. Fan control needs it there to set itself up. macOS 13.0+.
