This is a Hacker News front page remix for people who want less AI grumbling, or more of it on purpose.

Every visible story title and preview comment is passed through an AI judge that scores how needlessly negative it is about AI, AI tools, or building software with AI.

    We asked an AI judge:

You are judging whether text is needlessly negative about AI, AI tools, or people building software with AI. Return JSON only. Score from 0 to 1. Use 0 for neutral text, constructive criticism, or anything not meaningfully about AI. Use higher scores only for dismissive snark, sweeping condemnation, "AI is illegal", "AI sucks", "nobody should build with AI", or similar anti-AI curmudgeonry. Keep rationales under 16 words.

Live mode follows the current HN front page. Historical day views use San Francisco calendar days. Weekly and monthly views aggregate the fixed top 30 posts captured for each San Francisco day, so those lower navigation strips show a historical sample instead of trying to refill the page from an entire week or month.

The charts track how much AI doomer static shows up over time across those daily, weekly, and monthly slices.
