Guess the 7-letter word in 5 tries. After each guess, each letter turns a color:
H
↑ Hi - too low in the alphabet. The answer letter comes later.
L
↓ Lo - too high. The answer letter comes earlier.
S
✓ Solve - perfect. That is the letter.
Below each guess you'll see the remaining letter range for each position!
A new word every day. Everyone plays the same word. The puzzle number (e.g. #1) tracks how many daily puzzles have been released.
About Hilo
Hilo is a daily word puzzle that blends vocabulary with alphabetical reasoning. Each day, everyone gets the same 7-letter word to crack, using hi/lo clues to narrow down each letter.
Unlike most word games, Hilo isn't about knowing obscure words. It's about logic and deduction, watching the letter ranges shrink with every guess until the answer clicks into place.
