GNU AFFERO GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE — AGPLv3-or-later

Slop City's original game source code and build scripts are licensed under GNU AGPLv3-or-later, with a narrow Unity linking exception.

Source: github.com/hollingsworthd/slop-city
Play: SLOPCITY.org

You may use, study, modify and redistribute the covered code under the license. When applicable, AGPL requires modified networked versions to offer their Corresponding Source to users. The software comes without warranty. Read the full license, Unity permission and scope / third-party notice.

The license covers original program code. It does not relicense Unity, third-party components, TikTok clips, music, photographs, fonts, artwork or trademarks. Preserve their existing notices and obtain any separate permissions needed to use or redistribute them. The Unity exception permits distributing the covered game code linked with Unity while preserving AGPL obligations for the game code.

Trademark notice

Machine Publishers™, Digilore™, from their mouth to yours™, SLOP CITY™, Ai Lives Don't Matter™, and 1984drh™ are trademarks. The GNU AGPL and Unity linking exception do not grant rights to these trademarks or associated branding.

Get the source and build

git clone https://github.com/hollingsworthd/slop-city.git
cd slop-city

This repository is rooted at ~/knoxvillains on the development machine. The active game lives in slop-city-blender/, with the Unity project in slop-city-blender/Unity/. Use Unity 6000.3.26f1, with the Mac and/or WebGL export modules for those builds. Obtain Unity under its own license; it is not supplied as AGPL source. See the game README and Unity build instructions for controls, architecture, build commands and asset provenance.

The in-game LICENSE + SOURCE entry provides the full license offline and an unauthenticated reader for public repository files. Open on GitHub opens the repository directly. If the repository returns 404, its owner has not yet enabled public access; the game never bypasses that restriction.

Generated builds, Unity caches, installed tools, local account configuration and release archives are ignored. Original source, build scripts and project settings belong in this repository; see .gitignore.
